Pete the Mormon

The thing that I am probably most proud of in my life is my membership in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or in other words, the fact that I am a Mormon. In a world were we aretaking more liberal stances on the ideals and opinions of those around us, I find that we ignore and discredit religion. I am very proud of my religion and the hope that my faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me.

I had an experience the other day with the guy who was installing my internet. He, being a good Oklahoma christian, was asking how I, a woman of science, reconciled my religion with my career. I think that science, physics, theories, cannot disprove the existence of a divine being. I believe that learning and growth in all things is of God. God follows laws, he is subjects to laws and principles of physics, he just has a more complex, thorough and perfect understanding of the laws of nature. My science increases my faith in God and lets me look for him in all things.

I have had many experiences in my life where I have felt my Heavenly Father’s love. Many of them have been shared on this website, and so many home are held near and dear to my heart. I do know that my Savior Jesus Christ lives. That he died for my sins. To give me the opportunity to grow and change in this life and become more like him. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of our Savior Jesus Christ. It testifies and teaches of his divine plan and what we need to do to have life eternal with or families.

If you ever have any questions of want to learn a little bit more about those mormons.
